Which software format should I use for my source document?
Some translated materials may not retain formatting in some kinds of software. I recommend using standard software such as Microsoft Word (.doc, docx), Microsoft Excel (.xls, xlsx), PowerPoint (ppt., pptx) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf), if possible. If your content is available in other type of formats, feel free to let me know to discuss your needs.

How can I help to maintain the consistency of terminology with previously translated materials?
Any additional materials, terminology lists, glossaries, references you could provide may prove useful in order to keep consistency and accuracy with your previously translated materials.

How is the quality of the translation ensured?
I use target language spellcheckers and the translations are carefully proofread by native target language speakers, proofreaders (applies to the English language, too).

What are your rates?
My rates depend on the subject, text length and deadline. You can suggest a price yourself. For example, if you are interested in employing my services on a continuous basis (e.g. for book translations, script translations, long term contracts), you can make me an offer. I usually charge for the number of words (source word) you send me. However, if you wish to be charged for the target words, or in another way, please let me know. I am open to your suggestions and will work with you, if possible.

When is the translation going to be ready?
My normal processing speed is 15,000 words / week. I am also available for weekend work without extra charges.

What are the format options for my final product and how will I receive it?
I offer many options for your final product including hard copies (faxed and mailed), electronic copies (USB stick or e-mail) and/or laser printed colour copies. Delivery options are fax, e-mail, mail, courier, and overnight delivery service.
